Establishment and maintenance of a safe work
environment is the shared responsibility of management
and the employees at all levels of the organization.
Our Captains and crewmembers continually seek to
maintain the highest level of safety, security and
environmental protection throughout the workplace.
Employees are trained to the OMSA/SafeGulf standards
as set by the oil and gas industry. Our Captains are
all certified to the standards set by the United
States Coast Guard for certification and training.
Our Safety Management Program ensures that
employees receive all relevant training, and they are
kept updated on new regulatory and industry
requirements, through daily safety meetings and
quarterly "Fleet Safety Bulletins". Some of
the key elements of the safety management program
include; Behavioral Job Safety Analysis (BJSA),
Identification of Hazards/Stop Work Authority,
Incident/Accident Reporting and Investigation/Root
Cause Analysis, Probable Cause/Near Miss Reporting and
Employee Assistance Program.
The safety program coupled with an extensive
"preventative maintenance" program ensures
the highest level of reliability of our boats and
equipment to meet the needs of our customers.
Details of the company safety program can be
reviewed via the ISNetworld,
and the PEC
/ Premier Safety Management, Inc. databases.
