Safety
Establishment and maintenance of a safe work environment is the shared
responsibility of the employer and the employees at all levels of the
organization. The company will attempt to do everything within its control to
assure a safe environment and compliance with federal, state, and local safety
regulations. Employees are expected to obey safety rules and to exercise caution
in all their work activities. They are asked to immediately report any unsafe
conditions to their supervisor. Not only supervisors, but employees at all
levels of the organization are expected to correct unsafe conditions as promptly
as possible. All accidents or incidents (no matter how minor) must be reported
to the appropriate supervisor at once. To assist in the effort to provide the
safest possible work environment for employees, customers, and visitors, we have
appointed a safety committee composed of representatives from throughout the
organization. The committee exists to help communicate and execute an effective
safety program and may be attended by any employee.
