OVERVIEW
Offshore Oil Services, Inc., owned by the Muchowich family,  is the most recent of businesses that have evolved over the last 75 years. In 1932, Capt. Carl Muchowich, his wife Anna, and their two sons, Joe and Raymond settled in Freeport to develop a wholesale shrimp business which continued into the 1960s.  The family also operated a deep sea charter fishing business, Party Boats, Inc., until the mid 1970s.  In the late 1960’s, Raymond Muchowich made his entrance into the offshore supply business when he opened a marine terminal on the New Brazos River Diversion Channel in  response to a growing demand for shore based services by the offshore oil and gas industry.M/V Sophie M at Work Recently, after 35 years in the marine terminal business, that segment of operations was sold. Today, the company continues to serve the offshore oil industry as a provider of offshore supply vessels.

In the year 2000, Raymond Muchowich passed away leaving his beloved company in the hands of his daughter, Marilyn Muchowich Stanley, who worked beside her father for 25 years.   Through her lifetime, Marilyn’s daughter, Stacy Stanley, has played many roles in the company and, today, through her service as the company’s President has become the fourth generation of the Muchowich family actively engaged in the family’s business.

It is the goal of Offshore Oil Services, Inc. to provide outstanding equipment and vessel services to our valued customers.  We are constantly exploring ideas and implementing plans which allow us to maintain our reputation as a quality provider of services.  We believe that a team of employees dedicated to excellence and proud of being a part of our organization is the way to accomplish that goal.
