It is the goal of Offshore Oil Services, Inc. to provide outstanding equipment and vessel services to our valued customers.  We are constantly exploring ideas and implementing plans which allow us to maintain our reputation as a quality provider of services.  Over the next ten years, Offshore Oil Services, Inc. plans to continue to grow its fleet of outstanding crewboats, and we believe that a team of employees dedicated to excellence, and proud of being a part of our organization, is the way to accomplish that goal.
 
First Captain The First Captain serves as vessel master, provides leadership and direction to the crew, promotes efficiency, customer service, safety and compliance with company policies.  Must demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate employees and possess the ability to organize and effectively work on multiple tasks at one time.  Must have a team oriented attitude with good interpersonal skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED.  
  • Minimum 2 years crew boat captain experience. 
  • Master of Near Coastal Steam or Motor Vessels of not more than 100 Gross Tons
Second Captain The Second Captain serves as relief vessel master, provides leadership and direction to the crew, promotes efficiency, customer service, safety and compliance with company policies.  Must demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate employees and possess the ability to organize and effectively work on multiple tasks at one time.  Must have a team oriented attitude with good interpersonal skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED.  
  • Minimum 1 years crew boat captain experience. 
  • Master of Near Coastal Steam or Motor Vessels of not more than 100 Gross Tons
Third Captain The Third Captain is an entry level developmental position which serves as relief vessel master in training.  Trains to oversee vessel operation, keeps First Captain advised of safety and maintenance issues.  Must demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate employees and possess the ability to organize and effectively work on multiple tasks at one time.  Must have a team oriented attitude with good interpersonal skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED.  
  • Minimum 1 years crew boat captain experience or 1 year other industry captain experience. 
  • Master of Near Coastal Steam or Motor Vessels of not more than 100 Gross Tons
Seaman Maintains vessel in clean, safe operating condition, assists with safe loading and unloading of all deck cargo.  Assists with vessel operations.  Provides clean and orderly work environment in accordance with required schedules.  Prepares meals for crew as requested.  Launders vessel linens.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.  

  • Previous boat experience preferred.

Cook Maintain galley in clean, safe operating condition.  Prepares a menu and shops for weekly menu planning.  Functions as a Deckhand when necessary.
