Eligible employees in this organization are provided a
wide range of benefits. Benefits eligibility is
dependent upon a variety of factors, including
employee classification, and your supervisor can
identify the programs for which you are eligible.
Details of many of these programs can be found in the
employee handbook. Exempt employees will replace any
absent time with benefit time. If there is no benefit
time available Exempt employee’s pay will be
deducted for all full days absent. The following
benefit programs are available to eligible employees
subject to conditions and limitations of specific
employment classifications:

Vacation
|
|
All regular full-time and per-diem employees are
eligible for vacation benefits according to the
guidelines set forth in this policy. After 6 months of
service employees are eligible for one week (5 days)
of vacation pay. Employees are eligible for a second
week (5 days) of vacation on their anniversary date.
Employees are eligible for 2 weeks (10 days) of
vacation beginning January 1st, following their
anniversary date. Thereafter, vacation benefits will
be available for use on January 1st according to the
below vacation eligibility schedule. Additional
vacation weeks accrue on your anniversary date.
Employees who have satisfied all eligibility
requirements must submit a time
off request form to their supervisors a minimum of
two weeks in advance. Requests will be evaluated based
upon various factors, including anticipated operating
requirements and staffing considerations during the
proposed period of absence. OFFSHORE provides
employees with paid vacation for the purpose of rest
and relaxation. All employees are strongly
encouraged to take vacation in the year that it is
earned.

Offshore Oil Services, inc. allows you to pay yourself
first and begin saving now for your future. You become
eligible once you complete the introductory period of
6 mos. Contact our Human Resource Department for
Details. (Exclusions: Employees covered by a
collective bargaining agreement/Non-resident aliens
who have no U.S. source of earned income/leased
employees)

Bereavement Leave
|
|
If an employee wishes to take time off due to the
death of an immediate family member, the employee
should notify his or her supervisor immediately. Up to
3 days of paid bereavement leave per loss will be
provided to all regular full-time employees. Approval
of bereavement leave will occur in the absence of
unusual operating requirements. Any employee may, with
the supervisor’s approval, use any available paid
leave for additional time off as necessary. OFFSHORE
defines “immediate family” as the employee’s
spouse, domestic partner, parent, grandparent, child
or sibling; or the parent, grandparent, child, or
sibling of the employee’s spouse or domestic
partner.

OFFSHORE will grant paid holiday time to all employees
on the holidays listed below: Per diem employees will
be paid according to their normal daily rate.

Jury Duty
|
|
OFFSHORE encourages employees to fulfill their civic
responsibilities by serving jury duty when required.
Employees may request paid jury duty leave for the
length of absence. To receive pay, the court must
provide documentation.
